Global Education in School Partnership - Free One-Day Workshop to Support School Linking at the Bricks and Bread Sustainable Living Centre, Aldershot

How can a global school partnership enhance teaching and learning?
This one day workshop explores the meaning of a global education and considers the opportunities that arise within a school partnership to take this forward. The workshop is for staff who wish to develop a global dimension through joint curricular work with colleagues in partner schools. This workshop explores:
•the meaning of a global education
•the curricular work that schools attending the workshop are already doing
•collaborative curricular development
•connections between partner countries and the lives of learners in partner countries
•ways of challenging and extending learners’ view of the world
•exploring controversial and sensitive issues in partnerships

This workshop is sponsored by the British Council and places are free.

Lunch is included. If you have particular needs which may make participating in this workshop difficult please let us know. We will do our best to enable your participation on the day. The closing date for making bookings is 30th April
